QD486 : Synthesis of triazoles lixnked pyranopyrimidine using multi-component and click reaction

Abstarct: In n this study, pyrano[2,3 -d]pyrimidine derivatives were synthesized via a three-component reaction of aromatic aldehydes, 4,6-dihydroxypyrimidine, and malononitrile using a choline chloride/ethylene glycol eutectic solvent (1:1) as an efficient and environmentally friendly catalyst in ethanol. In the next step, a click reaction between 7-amino-5-(3-methoxy-4-(prop-2-en-1-yloxy)phenyl)-4-oxo-3,5-dihydro-4H-pyrano[3,2-d] pyrimidine-6-carbonitrile and aromatic azides led to the formation of new 3,2,1-triazole derivatives attached to the pyrimidine ring. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopy.
