Abstarct: In this research, calcium silicate hydrate (Ca6Si6O17(OH)2, CSH) was prepared and functionalized by 3-(tri-methoxysilyl) propylamin (A-CSH). Then by adding salicylic aldehyde, schiff baxse was fixed on the A-CSH (A-CSH/S) surface to stabilize the vanadium complexe (A-CSH/S@V). For the characterization of this heterogeneous catalyst FT-IR، ICP، BET، XRD techniques and SEM images and EDX were used. Whereas epoxidation of alkenes is one of the most important chemical processes, then the catalytic property of A-CSH/S@V was investigated in the epoxidation of cyclo-octene as a model reaction. The various parameters such as type of solvent, type of oxidant, amount of oxidant and amount of catalyst and time of reaction were optimized for this reaction. Under optimal conditions, it was observed that this heterogeneous catalyst exhibited excellent performance and efficiency in the epoxidation process. Also the results showed that this catalyst could be recovered and reused up to 4 cycles.
