Abstarct: Chromen[2,3-c]pyrazole derivatives have several biological activities such as anti-hypertensive, anti-tumor, and anti-bacterial properties. In this study, chromen[2,3-c]pyrazoles were synthesized in magnetized distilled water (MDW) at 80 ℃. Catalyst-free four-component reaction of ethyl acetoacetate, hydrazine, aldehydes, and 1,3-cyclohexanedione/dimedone gives the chromen[2,3-c]pyrazole derivatives in high yields. This green method offers the advantages of short reaction times, low-cost, catalyst-free, additive-free, green and quantitative reaction yields.
