Abstarct: Pyranopyrazoles are fused heterocyclic compounds that possess many biological properties such as fungicidal, bactericidal and anticancer agents. Herein study was reported a simple and efficient synthesis of pyranopyrazoles by a four component reaction of hydrazine, ethylacetoacetate, malononitrile and different aldehydes using caffeine as catalyst in water at 50 °C. The advantages of this method can be said to be simple, fast, coffeine green catalyst with excellent yields and purity.
