Abstarct: The subject of this research is due to synthesis and characterization of molybdenum Schiff¬ baxse complex. The catalytic activity of this complex for epoxidation of alkenes was also studied. Effect of reaction parameters such as solvent and oxidant were investigated. The optimum conditions with over %90 efficieney are 2 ml ethanol as solvent, 0.98 mmol hydrogen peroxide as oxidant and 0.028 mmol catalyst at 80 ̊C for 3 hr.
