Abstarct: My thesis topic is "Modification of electroluminescence (EL) devices operation by using of nanostructure materials". For this purpose indium nanowire was fabricated successfully using an AAO template by a hot hydraulic pressure injection method. SEM images prove fabrication of indium array and free standing nanowires. By removing the AAO template using NaOH 0.2 wt% solution nanowire arrays were obtained and free standing indium nanowires were fabricated by mechanical removing of the indium laxyer and elimination of the AAO template. In the next step, synthesized indium nanowire was used for Modification of electroluminescence (EL) devices operation. When a material emits electromagnetic radiation as a result of the application of an electric field, the process is called electroluminescence (EL). Alternating current devices Electroluminescence are included Powder Electroluminescence (ACPEL) and thin film electroluminescent (ACTFEL). Due to the low brightness, the applications of ACPEL devices are mainly limited to backlighting and lamp applications that require low brightness. But AC thin film EL (ACTFEL) used in display devices. At present, commercial flat-panel electroluminescent (EL) displays operate on the basis of the amber emission from thin films of the phosphor ZnS:Mn. There are different ways for increasing EL efficiency. Using the mextal nanowires directly contact the phosphor and function as nanoelectrodes, which can induce a highly intensified electric field in the phosphor region. This localized electric field is much higher than the average applied field and hence increase EL efficiency. In this research EL devices were fabricated basis zinc oxide, zinc sulfide and zinc sulfide doped with manganese. Thin films phosphor laxyer were synthesized by thermal evaporation and spray methods. Their structure and optical properties have been investigated by scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, transmittance spectra and photoluminescence spectra
