Nobody can deny the importance of energy in today's world. As a result, many academics are performing considerable study for energy from sustainable sources, such as solar energy, of which solar cells are one technique. In this thesis, WO3/RGO nanocomposites were synthesized by hydrothermal method and their powder was used to fabricate dye sensitized solar cells. In this study, graphene oxide was combined with WO3 in various percentages of 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7, and the samples were labeled RW1, RW3, RW5, and RW7. Characterizations of the produced powders using Raman, FTIR, XRD, FESEM, and EDX revealed good agreement with the published literature. To examine the use of synthesized nanocomposite, four dye sensitized solar cells were created, one with pure WO3 and three with RW3, RW5, and RW7 nanopowders. On the constructed devices, IPCE and voltage-current analyses were performed. According to the results, the RW7 sample had the best solar cell performance, indicating that by increasing the amount of graphene, its sheets are well combined with tungsten oxide and provide superior efficiency.
