Abstarct: In recent years it has been shown that in relativistic heavy ions collisions at the Large Hadron Collision LHC and RHIC, quark gluon plasma produced constant strongly coupled. Since the coupling constant is strong, it can’t be used perturbation method to study in an anisotropic plasma. One of the newest methods is AdS/CFT correspondence. In this thesis by using this correspondence, we’ll investigate the stopping distance of a light probe in an anisotropic quark gluon plasma in two states: a) Without considering chemical potential b) Investigate the stopping distance by considering chemical potential For illustration of problem, at first the quark gluon plasma briefly introduced. AdS/CFT corresponding explained, then all observables named and briefly explained. Then compared in two isotropic and anisotropic state. In the end one of them which is stopping distance of a light probe considered in two states.
