Abstarct: The main goal of this thesis is to analyse the invariance conditions of KdV equation. This is done by finding symmetry transformations and the equivalence reduced equations. For this purpose firstly, we start with fundamental geometric concepts to clarify the geometric structure of the considered equation. Then by obtained symmetry group and the amended algorithm the invariance conditions, reduced forms and group-invariant solutions are given.
