Abstarct: Resently, utilizing LDPC codes have been magnificently of interest for many resarchers and applicants. In this project we first study basic and elementary concepts in the coding theory and then investigate some message passing algorithms using factor graphs, moreover we study linear programming decoding and some of its improvements. finally we compare some of the decoding algorithms.
