Abstarct: This study aimed at probing the academic achievement of the students of English literature at BA level baxsed on their performance in language related courses in high school and their GPA, as well. In order to do so, the researcher conducted a small scale survey of 46 students, who were selected baxsed on convenient sampling method, and collected their scores language courses and their high school GPA. In addition, their average scores at BA level were operationally defined as the indices of their academic achievement in undergraduate English literature program. Using SPSS, the data went through correlational analysis. The results showed a week correlation between performance in English literature program and high school GPA. The same was true for Arabic and Farsi scores.
