Abstarct: One of the important topics in the field of urban design and construction is sustainable architecture compatible with the climate, the purpose of which is to create a sustainable living environment to create a desirable life. Therefore, in the construction of a residential complex, more attention should be paid to climate and sustainability issues, so that with proper design and use of clean energy, environmental comfort can be provided for the residents of the house, which is in line with the research goal, which is "designing a sustainable residential complex with Relying on the principles of architecture compatible with the climate and using clean and reversible energies. Therefore, this thesis has conducted a research in this field, the research method of which is descxriptive-analytical and baxsed on data from library sources and field studies, which is practical in terms of purpose. Therefore, firstly, the studies of housing, sustainability, native architecture compatible with the climate were discussed, and then the case examples of sustainable residential complexes were examined, and in the next stage, the site was analyzed by field sampling. The findings of the research show that the following items are important in the design of the residential complex with the aim of sustainability, which have been used in the final plan. These factors include: proper orientation of the blocks in the site to receive light and wind, observing the distance between the blocks with the aim of creating natural ventilation and moisture removal, extending the plan in the east-west direction with the aim of receiving sunlight and wind.
