Abstarct: The chaotic economic situation in today's society has put a significant part of our society at the farthest possible distance from the dream of owning a house. In the meantime, a part of the activists of the construction industry, under the pretext of reducing the final cost of the building, by building low-quality residential units, condemned the citizens, especially the middle and weaker class, to live in soulless settlements. Undoubtedly, inaction against this current of thought in housing construction will lead to a miserable situation in the future; Therefore, knowing the strong role of housing quality in the quality of life of the residents and emphasizing the fact that living in a high-quality architectural space is the right of every person regardless of their economic status, it is necessary to use an efficient model in order to avoid unnecessary costs in the construction of On the one hand, the use of available resources in order to improve the quality of the living space in accordance with the high status of man, on the other hand, is deeply felt. This research has searched for the answer to this problem at the border between the abyss of extremes, where is the valley of contentment. Contentment is one of the valuable concepts in the Iranian and Islamic culture of our country, and a content person has always been praised. With the aim of fully understanding the dimensions of the concept of contentment and avoiding misunderstanding of its meanings, in the first phase of the research, by examining this concept in scientific, religious and literary sources, contentment was defined as a balance between cost effectiveness and creating satisfaction in the current research process. Then, in the second phase of the research, by studying library sources and field studies, examples of contentment in architectural works were extracted, and baxsed on that, the strategies to re-prefigure this verb in today's architecture were introduced. The obtained solutions were explained baxsed on the similarities of the categories and 5 themes of "optimism", "multi-purpose", "nature-friendliness", "self-reliance" and "recyclability" as the main strategies to achieve convincing architecture. According to the purpose of the present research and the need to design a residential complex in the new city of Baharestan, Isfahan, the solutions obtained in the form of each strategy were scored by architectural and urban planning experts active in the construction industry separately and by the pairwise comparison method, and then by the entropy method, Priorities were determined in each strategy. baxsed on the rules obtained from architectural research with a contentment approach, the national building standards and regulations as a reference for construction laws throughout the country, and of course the standards introduced by the Baharestan New City Development Organization as the custodian of the design and implementation of new residential complexes in this city. The final design has been presented.
