Abstarct: In the current situation, the growth of urbanization is associated with an increase in mental disorders. Because one of the abandoned topics in most of the programs and projects related to the artificial environment is qualitative topics, including aesthetic topics, and the main attention of the participants is mostly focused on quantitative topics and factors, especially economic factors. Therefore, the problem of this research is to examine the mental health of the residents of residential complexes with the presupposition of an aesthetic role. Therefore, this research has been done with the aim of improving the mental health of the residents with regard to the role of aesthetic components. Explaining the components and standards of mental and aesthetic health and how to realize it in the research sample (Talar Gorgan town) are the questions of the research. Field research was conducted through random sampling in a statistical sample (301 people) and using a Likert scale questionnaire, the standard of which was confirmed by exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis tests in spss software. The results of the studies are presented using descxriptive tests, mean, one-sample t-test, correlation, regression and path analysis in spss software. The findings show that the aesthetic condition and mental health among the residents are moderate to high and somewhat appropriate, and there is a significant negative relationship and correlation between these two variables; That is, with the increase of aesthetic perception and its components, the components of mental health (depression, social dysfunction, stress and physical symptoms) are reduced and as a result, the total score of mental health increases. Aesthetic components predict 8% of the total mental health score, and only two variables, gender and length of stay, have a direct and negative effect on the mental health variable. Finally, the research results and architectural solutions to improve the mental health of the residents have been presented with regard to the aesthetic perception.
