Abstarct: Raising children in appropriate condition and environment is possible. Children are intrinsically creative and adult attention is needed for keeping children creative. According to studies, structures and disciplines in educational environments have mainly had negative impacts on children’s creativity. Because of this, in recent years, a balance between creativity and convergent thinking is considered as a necessity. The main concern in this research is creating an environment for children to experience a range of art activities in order to benefit from imagination and creativity. This study evaluates the importance of children using a space such as art center and its proper physical environmental characteristics. Consequently, in this investigation descxriptive-analytical research method was used and with the help of library resources, the importance of children art activities and its effects on their growth and creativity were studied. Furthermore, theoretical sources related to the environment appreciate to the characteristics of children and stimulate their creativity were studied and several world-renowned architectural works were evaluated and analyzed. It is concluded that art activities have significant benefits for children growth and their creativity as well as their mental and physical health. The results of studies related to physical environment and analyzing architectural designs indicate that environment has noticeable impact on children mental and physical health. Children motivation for doing an activity and using imagination and creativity are also affected by the environment remarkably. Furthermore, environmental features such as flexibility and having access to outdoor places improve children motivation for doing art activities and the growth of creative thinking.
