Abstarct: Studies on the design process in the works of various architects seek to identify the set of steps that designers have taken consciously or unconsciously. Achieving the design process will help architects express the development of a work in process language and teaching it and a more objective perspective to critique and judge the architect's works and ideas. In this research, we try to identify how the development stages of architects' works are done by examining design methods. It is necessary to find the factors on which the designer's mental basis is formed. The prevailing conditions of society, politics, socio-cultural responsibilities, and the employer's financial support cause designers to be biased in some cases, with examining the factors influencing the designer's personality and his design path during consecutive years of work, we will achieve the least Error, and also to get to know the designer's attitude and the design process in his works. In the following, the thought and design method of Abdolreza Zokaei, a contemporary architect of the second generation of Iran, in the form of analysis and descxription of his attitude and works, by reviewing texts, sources, and visual documents in the context of library, has been studied. Zokaei is one of the second-generation contemporary architects after World War II. Analysis of his interviews and works shows that Zokaei's approach to design is pragmatic and influenced by modern thought. With this approach, he goes to formalism in design. Thus, most of his works are reproductions of familiar patterns, in a systematic body, and follow specific proportions and network organization.
