Abstarct: Today, organizations and departments, like living organisms, need some kind of adaptability or struggle with a challenging work environment, from the need to reform bureaucratic processes to the ability to produce new products and ideas, at the micro or macro level, which increases the need for the presence of efficient and creative human resources every day. If we consider creativity in a general and general sense as a container for creating new processes and reforming existing processes, it is perhaps one of the most important competencies of employees. On the other hand, employee creativity is influenced by a set of different factors, and the aim of this research is to find factors related to the architecture and design of the work environment and understand the extent of its impact on employee creativity. The most important question of the research is: What effect does the physical work environment have on the social environment and individual creativity? For this purpose, we first examined library data using content analysis and extracted the conceptual frxamework of the research. Then, by collecting quantitative data with a questionnaire and determining its reliability, we performed exploratory factor analysis and modeled it using structural equation modeling to enrich this method in discovering hidden data. The sample size was determined using the Soper method and quantitative data analysis was performed using SPSS26 software and structural equation modeling in Amos24 with 297 subjects from among the employees of knowledge-baxsed companies of Ferdowsi University and Khorasan Razavi Science and Technology Park. The result is that the physical work environment affects the social environment and individual creativity. In addition, the non-physical environment also plays a general mediator role in the effect of the physical environment on individual creativity. The variables of gender and age affect individual creativity and the duration of activity in companies also affects non-physical factors. The moderating role of the variables of education level, extraversion, and marital status was also tested, and none of them were significant.
