Abstarct: In this research, the importance and necessity of hanging out in urban public spaces, as a place for people to meet, to talk, play, get information and rest, and its impact on the development of social stability, because in today's societies, providing a place to increase interactions is discussed. And the communication of citizens is very important in order to increase the sense of belonging, vitality, etc. The purpose of this research is to "investigate the physical factors of the urban hangout on Naharkhoran Boulevard in Gorgan in order to increase social sustainability". which has been extracted by examining numerous theories of physical indicators of urban hangouts and indicators of social stability, and then to prove the hypothesis and answer the research questions by distributing questionnaires among the citizens in the study area, the condition of the physical factors of Gorgan Naharkhoran Boulevard and social stability It has been determined and at the end the impact of different components has been investigated. The present study was descxriptive-analytical in nature. that, collecting the necessary information from library studies, authentic documents and articles and distributing the questionnaire in the form of available sampling, by attending the scope of the study, in six sessions, most of which were in the morning; It has been distributed among 300 users of the desired hangout. And the questionnaire data analysis has been done with the help of spss software, version 29. The questionnaire has high reliability according to the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which is 0.9. The results show that, among the components of social sustainability development, which include: social interactions, vitality, sense of belonging to a place; Vitality with an average of 3.60 has the highest level of satisfaction among sustainability components, and physical components, which include: urban furniture, pedestrian circulation, traffic, readability, permeability and access, security, green space, variety and mix of uses, visual effect, pedestrian circulation with an average of 7.89, have the highest satisfaction. The level of satisfaction among the physical components of urban hangouts. And according to the analysis of the questionnaire and field observations, it can be admitted that the physical factors: urban furniture, security, traffic, pedestrian circulation, green space, permeability and access, mixing and variety of uses, readability in Naharkhoran Boulevard, Gorgan are not satisfactory and should be He took steps to increase their quality.
