Abstarct: According to the improved attention of the leader in creating organizational changes around the world and its effect in organizational innovation, in this thesis mutual relationship of a transformational leadership and organizational innovation discusses and a conceptual frxamework in this baxse presents. In this relationship it is tried to use extra testing components of the available questionnaire, another component which has been regard significant in a transformational leadership and innovation is being investigated. This research is descxriptive-integrative and is a applied research from the purpose point of view. Statistic population including 350 people of the managers and staffs of Shahroud industrial tourn of the dietary industry , which (115) people have been chosen as statistical samples by Chochran formula, and among distributed questionnaires by a simple randoming method, 94 questionnaires have been collected and analyzed. Tools for collecting information in questionnaire and innovation making leadership questionnaire of MLQ1 Bass and Avolio (1997) and for innovation in this research Damanpour (1992) model for manufacture and process innovation , Elenkov and Maneov (2005) and Weerarwardena (2003) for excretive innovation and Ibarra (1993) and Hammer (2004) for market innovation and designed questions by the researcher for strategic innovation have been used . the results indicate that there is a direct meaningful relationship between transformational leadership and innovation and among transformational leadership components the best regression model belongs to individual considerations.
