HA6 : To Identify the Factors Influencing Automobile Selection by Axiomatic Design Principle

Abstarct: With the discussion of Globalization and membership to Wrold Trade Organization (WTO), automobile companies need customer satisfaction for petuinity, hrowth, and development. Those companies compatible with customer’s criteria, are successful. Knowing these criteria opens the success gates for the producers. In this Thesis, the factors influencing automobile selection between Iranina customers are decomposed to 3 level using two axioms of Axiomatic Design (AD). By measn of AHP and statistical analysis, the most important factors effective on customer’s decision in each level and the amount of customer’s satisfaction of every factor are specified for 5 types of automobiles. AD enables the car producers to understand the most important factor of each level, copare their own situation with competitors, and plan their strategies and programs for attaining and retaing customers
