Abstarct: With the increasing complexity, uncertainty, and environmental pressures in food industry supply chains, the adoption of integrated managerial approaches to achieve sustainability and sustainable competitive advantage has become inevitable. In this context, the LARG approach, as an integration of lean, agile, resilient, and green paradigms, provides a comprehensive frxamework for improving supply chain performance. Despite the importance of this approach, the simultaneous and realistic evaluation of its dimensions in the country’s food industries using advanced decision-making methods has received limited attention.The purpose of this study is to identify and assess the extent of LARG implementation in ten food industry companies in Khorasan Razavi Province (A1–A10) and to determine the distance of each dimension from the desired state. Accordingly, the criteria weights were determined using the Best–Worst Method, and the performance of the companies was analyzed by integrating the Opportunity Losses baxsed on Fuzzy Polar Coordinate Distance, in order to account for uncertainty in experts’ judgments.The results indicate that the green dimension has the smallest distance from the ideal state and demonstrates the best performance among the investigated companies, whereas the resilience dimension exhibits the highest level of lost opportunity and the weakest performance. The lean and agile dimensions were evaluated at a moderate level. Overall, the findings reveal an imbalance in the implementation of LARG dimensions in the studied companies and indicate that the simultaneous improvement of all four dimensions—particularly the response and recovery sub-criteria in the resilience dimension and the cost sub-criterion in the lean dimension—is a strategic necessity for enhancing supply chain performance and achieving sustainable competitive advantage in the food industry.
