Abstarct: The present study was conducted with the aim of examining the impact of green finance on sustainability performance through the mediating role of corporate social responsibility and the moderating role of stakeholder pressure in commercial and specialized banks operating in Iran. In terms of purpose, this research is applied in nature, and in terms of methodology, it follows a descxriptive-survey design. The statistical population consisted of senior and middle managers of commercial and specialized banks operating in Iran. Using a cluster random sampling method, 230 participants were selected as the research sample. Data were collected through a standard questionnaire whose validity and reliability were confirmed. The results of hypothesis testing revealed that green finance and corporate social responsibility have a positive and significant effect on sustainability performance. In addition, the positive and significant relationship between green finance and corporate social responsibility was confirmed. Furthermore, the moderating role of stakeholder pressure in the relationship between corporate social responsibility and sustainability performance was supported as a key finding of the study. These findings are important because they indicate that, in today’s dynamic business environment, attention to green finance and corporate social responsibility can enhance sustainability performance. The results of this study are consistent with previous studies emphasizing the importance of green finance and corporate social responsibility in achieving sustainability performance. More specifically, confirming the moderating role of stakeholder pressure in the relationship between corporate social responsibility and sustainability performance contributes to the enrichment and extension of the existing theoretical perspective. The present study suggests that future researchers examine the proposed model in other industries and different organizational contexts. Moreover, investigating the role of other mediating variables in this relationship and conducting longitudinal studies to evaluate the long-term stability of the effects of the studied variables may provide valuable directions for future research.
