Abstarct: This study aims to analyze the impact of money supply on economic growth in the Group of Twenty (G20) countries, using annual panel data for the period from 2003 to 2023. The research methodology is baxsed on panel data regression models, specifically fixed effects and random effects models, to examine the relationship between the main variables of the study. The variables under investigation include the dependent variable of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth and the independent variables: money supply (M2 as a percentage of GDP), inflation, foreign direct investment, and government expenditure. The findings of the analysis revealed that, during the studied period, money supply did not have a direct and statistically significant impact on the economic growth of the G20 countries. In contrast, inflation and government expenditure showed a negative and significant effect on economic growth, while foreign direct investment had a positive impact. These results emphasize the complexity of the relationship between monetary policy and economic growth and highlight the importance of other structural and institutional factors, such as price stability, the efficiency of public spending, and attracting productive investment, in achieving sustainable economic growth within the large and diverse economies of the G20.
