Abstarct: In today’s competitive and complex environment, organizations need precise and structured tools to evaluate performance and achieve their strategic goals. However, one of the main challenges is the lack of a comprehensive model to map the cause-and-effect relationships between strategic goals and prioritizing performance indicators at different levels of the organization. In this regard, the present study was conducted at Alvand Generator Company with the aim of developing a strategy map and prioritizing key performance indicators, using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach and multi-criteria decision-making methods. Considering the specific characteristics of this industry and the need for a comprehensive understanding of performance dimensions, two perspectives of “employees” and “suppliers” were also included in the final model in addition to the four main BSC perspectives. In the first step, using the interpretive structural modeling (ISM) method, the organization’s strategic goals were identified and leveled in the form of six perspectives (financial, customer, internal processes, growth and learning, employees, and suppliers). Then, using the Z-number-baxsed proximity value technique, key performance indicators related to each objective were extracted and prioritized baxsed on data from specialized questionnaires.
The research findings showed that the objective of "employee training" is located at the lowest level of the strategy map and plays the main driving role, and objectives such as "increasing profitability", "increasing revenue", "customer loyalty", "brand value" and "improving research and development" at higher levels have the greatest impact. Also, indicators such as "loyal customer growth rate", "customer retention rate", "ratio of research and development costs to revenue" and "recorded accident rate" had a high priority in performance evaluation.
Finally, the research results can lead to the development of practical strategies in the field of improving organizational performance, increasing competitive advantage and promoting managerial decision-making in Alvand Generator Company and pave the way for the development of more accurate evaluation models in similar industries..
