Abstarct: During the past decades, gender diversity in companies and its impact on the performance of companies have received much attention. Several mainstream theories claim that gender diversity can improve firm performance. It is assumed that gender diversity affects the company by bringing diversity in different skills, knowledge, experience, beliefs, values and leadership styles. The aim is to explain the gender diversity model on the strengths of work teams (case study: knowledge-baxsed companies). In order to identify the components of gender diversity, the library information collection method was used. The research is a qualitative research method and has a practical purpose, which will be used by managers and employers in the policy making and legislation of various organizations, especially knowledge-baxsed companies. In order to collect data by field method, interviews were conducted with experts and specialists of knowledge-baxsed companies. The statistical population of the research includes senior managers, experts and employees in government organizations and private companies, specifically knowledge-baxsed companies, as well as university experts and managers and experts of knowledge-baxsed companies related to the subject of the research. In this research, in the first stage, the required information was collected using a semi-structured interview with the statistical population, then in the next stage, the data was coded using the grounded theory method. Finally, a qualitative model with components of causal conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, strategies and solutions and consequences in the field of gender diversity on work overload was presented.
