Abstarct: Electricity production in the world has increased with renewable energy technologies. Due to its proximity to the equator, Iran is in the best condition to receive solar radiation. Considering the importance of solar power plants, many efforts have been made to evaluate the performance and analyze the efficiency of these power plants in Iran by using various models. In this research, the performance and efficiency of Iran's solar power plants have been evaluated using data coverage analysis and baxsed on important criteria and indicators specified by the Ministry of Energy (initial cost, annual maintenance cost, average monthly production, etc.). This evaluation was done with Lingo application software and the results of the evaluation have determined the effectiveness or inefficiency of 32 research units. Also, this evaluation led to the identification of the strengths and weaknesses of the units and it was found that the use of advanced technical equipment, previous infrastructure research From the construction, the use of parts and equipment monitoring systems, etc., has led to the improvement of the performance of the units, and it can be said that efforts to increase productivity and reduce costs in this field can have significant effects in the field of energy.
