Abstarct: in this research , the impact of human capital on economic development has been investigated . in the present study , iran 's provinces have been studied . in the period 1400 - 1385 , the effect of human capital on economic development has been studied . the econometric model used in this study is multiple least squares . the results of the short run show that increasing educational expenditures caused an increase in the economic development cycles and increased health expenditures and physical capital causes a decrease in economic development cycles and finally the number of short - term jobs has no effect on economic development cycles . also , the results of the long run show that increasing educational expenditures caused an increase in the economic development cycles and increased health spending and physical capital and the number of labor causes decrease in economic development cycles .
