Abstarct: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of start-up knowledge companies' activities on unemployment in selected provinces of Iran and also the effect of these companies in Semnan province cities, using panel data model during the period 1393-1397. Eviews9 and Stata software were used to estimate the model. The results of this study show a positive and significant relationship between the ratio of the number of start-ups knowledge-baxsed companies to the population with unemployment, and a negative and significant relationship between the sales of knowledge-baxsed companies and the consumer price index with unemployment and the production variable has no significant relationship with unemployment. baxsed on the results, the research hypothesis is rejected and it can be interpreted that knowledge-baxsed startups are in the process of product development, often lacking sales, also the number of human resources of these companies are often limited to the founders of the company. So it probably won't have much of an effect on reducing unemployment. But with the increase in sales of knowledge-baxsed companies, the unemployed population declines, and the negative relationship between consumer price index and unemployment confirms the Philips curve relationship and the positive and meaningless relationship of production with unemployment in this study is the rejection of Okan's law. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt policies such as investment incentives, low interest rates, customs exemptions, and taxation, by policymakers and planners to support increased sales of knowledge-baxsed companies.
