HA161 : Economic factors affecting demand for fire insurance in selected provinces of Iran (1380-1392)

Abstarct: In this research, panel data models have been used to study the factors affecting the demand for fire insurance in selected provinces of Iran. For this purpose, statistics and information about some provinces of the country during the period 1392 - 1380 have been collected. In this study, the final model was estimated using the Arlano and Band method, and the results obtained for model variables were that the fire insurance premiums with a coefficient of 235 and a probability value of 0, 000 were Which has a positive and statistically significant effect on the current demand for fire insurance in Iran. The actual per capita income has had a negative and significant impact on the demand for fire insurance. Rising inflation and unemployment have a negative effect on the demand for fire insurance, which has no significant effect on the unemployment rate. As the population increased, construction has increased as a result of an increase in demand for this type of insurance policy.
