Abstarct: The purpose of this research was “pathology of championship sport of Semnan province (using the technique of SWOT)”. The statistical sample of this reserch was(N=82) including chiefs of sport groups the directors of offices and the vice principals of main province director elite athletics, including formal athletes coaches and the province arbiters and the prominent concerned universities professors and other elders. Reviews of literature and documents, interviws and surveys were used to for collecting the data. An internal and external factor questionnaire and forms for determining sterategic issues were used to survey. Its validity was confirmed by 10 professor and specialists, and its reliability verified according to cronbachs alpha method(a=0.91). For analyzing data, descxriptive statistics, feridman test, internal and external factor matrixes, SWOT analyzing baxsed on intuition strategies developing. Results showed at the moment championship sport of Semnan province has, 19 strengths, 27 weaknesses, 14 opportunities, and 19 theats, So in result we found out that championship sport is weak in internal factors and is threatened in external parts. Evaluation of strategic situation championship sport of Semnan province showed that internal factors of the championship sport were in weaknesses area and its external factoris were threats area. seems the most important reasonns for this undersirable situation to be lack of strategic planning of championship sport province
