Abstarct: The present study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis of security in sports with an applied and descxriptive-analytical approach. The statistical population consisted of all scientific articles indexed in the Scopus databaxse in the field of security in sports up to April 2026. Using a combined search strategy including the keywords "Security" and "Sport" and applying inclusion and exclusion criteria (research and review articles, English language), 93 articles were finally selected as the final sample and entered into the analysis. Data were analyzed using VOSviewer software and through co-authorship analysis, co-occurrence analysis, and citation analysis. Descxriptive findings showed that 92.5% of the documents were research articles, and the fields of Social Sciences (16.9%), Computer Science (16.3%), and Engineering (15%) had the largest share in the scientific production of this field. The publication trend of articles has grown significantly since 2019, peaking in 2024 with 14 articles. Analytical findings revealed that the international scientific collaboration network has low density, and the United Kingdom (22 articles, 595 citations) plays a central role. The thematic structure was identified in three clusters: "Human Dimensions and Risk Management," "Modern Technologies and Intelligent Systems," and "Security and Safety in Football." The most cited article belonged to Gaffney (2010) with 275 citations. The final conclusion indicates that the field of security in sports is interdisciplinary and growing, moving from traditional approaches toward intelligent technologies.
