Abstarct: The present study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications in the field of spectator loyalty in sports. This study is applied in terms of purpose and descxriptive-analytical in nature, employing a bibliometric approach. The statistical population consisted of all scientific articles indexed in the Scopus databaxse. Using a combined search strategy including the keywords loyalty, spectator, and sport, 80 eligible articles were selected as the final sample. Data were analyzed using VOSviewer software, and co-authorship analysis, co-occurrence analysis, and citation analysis were employed. Descxriptive findings showed that 100% of the documents were original research articles, and the field of "Business, Management and Accounting" had the largest share with 43.3%. Analytical findings revealed that the United States emerged as the most influential node in the scientific collaboration network (22 articles, 756 citations), followed by the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Australia as other major plaxyers. The thematic structure of the field was identified in the form of four main clusters: "satisfaction and service quality," "behavioral and attitudinal dimensions of loyalty," "marketing and consumer behavior in sports," and "psychological involvement and spectator loyalty." The analysis of the evolution of concepts indicated a transition from an industry-oriented approach to a behavioral, psychological, and ultimately technological approach. The article by Hill and Green (2000) with 154 citations was the most cited paper in the field, and the journals Sport Management Review and the International Journal of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship were identified as the leading journals. The final conclusion shows that the field of spectator loyalty in sports has reached relative maturity and has evolved from an industry-oriented approach toward a behavioral, psychological, and technological approach. By providing a comprehensive scientific map, this research can serve as a roadmap for researchers, students, and sports managers to identify future research directions and design effective loyalty-building strategies.
