The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of Compulsory citizenship behavior on social capital with the mediating role of emotional exhaustion and the moderating role of leader-member exchange. According to the purpose, the present research is of applied research type and in terms of information gathering method, it is descxriptive research type and correlation designs are of structural equation model type. Also, the current research is cross-sectional in terms of time. The statistical population of this research included all employees of sports and youth departments in Tehran in the working year of 1401-1402 (N=250). Also, available sampling method was used to select the sample, and 130 people were selected as a sample. In this research, compulsory citizenship behavior was measured using Gadot 5-question questionnaire (2007), social capital was measured using Roshi 20-question questionnaire (1392), and emotional exhaustion was measured using Maslesh and Jackson's 8-question questionnaire (1981)., the 12-question questionnaire of Peffer and Jones (1974) was used to measure leader-member exchange. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by 5 experts, and Cronbach's alpha was used to check the reliability of the questionnaires, and the results showed that all the questionnaires had the necessary reliability. Data analysis was done in two parts, descxriptive statistics and inferential statistics, using SPSS and PLS software. The findings of the research are as follows: mandatory citizenship behavior has a positive and significant effect on social capital. Compulsory citizenship behavior has a positive and significant effect on emotional exhaustion. Emotional exhaustion does not have a positive and significant effect on social capital. Leader-member exchange has a positive and significant effect on social capital. The exchange of the member leader has a negative and significant effect on the emotional burnout of the employees of sports and youth departments in Tehran. Part of the effect of mandatory citizenship behavior on social capital does not depend on the presence of the emotional exhaustion variable. The exchange of leader-member-moderating role does not have a role in relation to mandatory citizenship behavior and social capital of employees of sports and youth departments in Tehran. Therefore, by clarifying the importance of compulsory citizenship behavior on reducing social capital and increasing emotional exhaustion of employees, it can be stated that sports managers in the workplace can create a suitable platform for increasing the social capital of employees in the organization by reducing compulsory citizenship behavior and Emotional exhaustion. provide that will improve the performance and professional success of the organization.
