GV316 : The effect of reference groups on the job preferences of physical education students with the moderating role of the educational environment

This study examines the influence of reference groups on the job preferences of physical education students, with the moderating role of the educational environment. The research method is descxriptive and correlational. The statistical population consisted of physical education students from Semnan province, and the G-Power software was used to estimate the sample size, with the final analysis conducted on N=138. The research tools included the Job Preferences Questionnaire by Mandegari et al. (2021) and the Reference Groups Questionnaire by Mirzani (2017). Data analysis was performed using SPSS and SMART-PLS software. The results showed that the family group has a positive and significant effect on the job preferences of physical education students, and the educational environment plays a moderating role between the family group and the students' job preferences. Additionally, the findings indicated that the peer group does not have a significant effect on the job preferences of physical education students, and the educational environment does not moderate the relationship between the peer group and the students' job preferences.
