GV278 : The effect of mextacognitive beliefs on social health of through occupational adaptation of physical education teachers

Abstarct: The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of mextacognitive beliefs on the social health of physical education teachers with the mediating role of job adaptation. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descxriptive in terms of survey type. In terms of the relationship between the variables, it is correlational and cross-sectional in terms of time. The statistical population studied was all physical education teachers of Semnan province (230 people) in the academic year 2021-2022. The sampling method was total count. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the used questionnaires were confirmed. A total of 204 respondents answered the distributed questionnaires perfectly. Structural equation modeling, including confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis, was used for data analysis. The software used for data analysis was SPSS and SMART PLS. The results showed that mextacognitive beliefs positively and significantly affect job adaptation and social health. Also, job adaptability had a positive and significant effect on social health and the role of job adaptability in the relationship between mextacognitive beliefs and social health was confirmed. According to the results, it can be stated that paying attention to the mextacognitive beliefs of physical education teachers in the workplace can provide a suitable platform for increasing occupational adaptation and social health.
