Abstarct: Today, according to the available evidence, football is the most popular and popular sport in the international arena. So much so that many countries on the five continents consider it a national sport.In our country, football is the most common and popular sport and compared to all disciplines, it has the largest number of athletes. Since football became a new industry, new financing options have opened up to the Premier League. World competitions have put the country's professional football in a serious dilemma. To succeed in this field, one of the most important infrastructures is choosing the appropriate methods of economic governance. The purpose of this study is a comparative study of the economic governance of the Iranian Football Premier League with selected countries, which was conducted in a practical and descxriptive-analytical manner. Data collection in this research has been done with the help of files that have been completed through databaxses including library resources and documents. The results showed that there is not much agreement between the economic governance methods of the Iranian Premier Football League and the football leagues of England, Germany, France and Japan. The economic governance of the Iranian Football Premier League was baxsed more on government and industry assistance and used less other methods, Most English, German, French and Japanese clubs were privately funded through television rights, environmental advertising, marketing and branding. The economic structure of the country, the governmental nature of the clubs, the lack of transparency in the financial statements, the lack of reform of some rules in the organization of the football league, the refusal of the radio and television to pay the television broadcasting rights to the clubs, Failure of the law of the young men's financial and ceiling law and wage ceiling is one of the important barriers to economic governance in the Premier League of Iran.
