GV202 : Relationship between self-efficacy and job hardiness with procrastination of employees of sports and youth departments of Khorasan Razavi province

Abstarct: In the current century, due to the existing competition among organizations and companies for obtaining more benefits and profits, dominance on instant benefits achieved higher importance. Even if, organizations possess and utilize the latest technologies and equipments but do not apply expert and efficient work forces, they won't be able to be influential in their workplaces and succeed in that contest.
One important factor which has a critical role in efficiency and effectiveness and also, physical and mental health of the people on that organization is the issue related to the procrastination toward assigned tasks and not enough attention has been paid in this regard. Current study has been carried out for the purpose of reviewing the relationship between self- efficacy, job hardiness and procrastination of the personnel on the department of sport and youth located in Khorasan Razavi.
This study is practical in terms of objective, scaling in terms of data collection and descxriptive - evaluative in terms of research methodology.
The sample population of this study consists of entire personnel engaged in the department of sport and youth located in the Khorasan Razavi that were in charge at the year of 1399 and 97 sample were selected as their accessibility was ensured. The tools being used in this study are self-efficacy questionnaire (Scherrer and Maddox 1982), job hardiness questionnaire (Moreno James and colleagues, 2014) and procrastination questionnaire (Takman, 1991). For data analysis, determination coefficients and (T) coefficients tests, spss23 and smartpls were taken advantages of. The results obtained through testing the approaches of the study indicated that self-efficacy has a direct and meaningful impact on job hardiness. The result of analysis further revealed that self-efficacy has a negative and meaningful impact on procrastination. Other findings of this study is the negative and meaningful impact of job hardiness, procrastination. And finally, the result of data analysis indicated that job hardiness has a mediatory role in the relationship between self-efficacy and procrastination of the personnel.
