GV127 : The relationship between organizational climate and employees job burnout with the mediator role of' organizational silence in sports and youth offices in Khorasan Razavi province

Abstarct: Surely the most important goal of any organization, such as sports organizations, is to achieve the highest possible level of productivity or optimal efficiency. On the other hand, currently one of the major problems are faced by organizations and especially the HR department, is the climate of enterprise silence, which ultimately leads to burnout in the staff. As a result, finding solutions to this problem contains of great importance in contemporary organizational issues. The present research has focused on this issue.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational atmosphere and burnout of employees with the role of institutional mediation mediator in sport and youth departments of Khorasan Razavi province.
The statistical society of this research is composed of the entire staff of the sport and youth offices of the province of khorasan-e-Razavi who were busy working in the offices of this province (n=380) during 1396.In this research, the whole staff in available occur official, conventional, contractual and daily-waged people were assigned as the statistical society. The method of group-random sampling was used to sample. In a way that 15 cities between the cities of the province of khorasan-e-Razavi have been studied. The organizational climate questionnaire of Javier and Liu (2003), Organizational Silence Questionnaire, Vakula and Borados (2005) and Maslach and Jackson (1996) burnout inventory were used for data collection. For face and content validity, these questionnaires were supported by the opinions of 10 experts and sports management professors. Then, a preliminary study was determined on a group of 30 employees of sport and youth departments in Khorasan Razavi province, organizational climate inventory (α = 0.65), organizational silence (α = 0.79) and burnout (α = 0.88). The results of this study showed that organizational climate has a negative and significant effect on organizational silence (-0.25) and burnout (-0.17). Also, organizational silence has a positive and significant effect on job burnout (0.72) at the level of 0.001 and organizational climate due to organizational silence has indirect and significant effect on occupational burnout of employees of sport and youth departments of Khorasan Razavi province (-0.18). Finally, the fitting indices of the model represent a relatively optimal fit of the model.
