Prof. Mohammad Ali Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, appointed Dr. Morteza Izadifard, the Faculty member of Physics Department, Shahrood University of Technology (SUT), as the President of the university in December.
In this appointment, Prof. Zolfigol addressed Dr. Izadifard and mentioned that in view of your commitment, expertise, and valuable experiences, you are hereby appointed as the head of Shahrood University of Technology.
In a separate letter, the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology also thanked Prof. Mohammadmehdi Fateh, former President of SUT, for his valuable efforts.
It should be mentioned that Dr. Morteza Izadifard is a faculty member of Physics Faculty of SUT. Previously, he has held responsibilities such as

Director of graduate affairs
Dean of faculty of Physics and Nuclear Engineering
