TN996 : Long-term and short-term production planning In Vertaveh Qamsar iron ore mine

Abstarct: Nowadays due to being completed Surface reserves and depth of many mineral reserves, the subject of how to extract them In such a way that it has the most economic benefit and at the same time ensuring safety is very important. Having the most economic benefit despite the optimism while paying attention to the technical limitations of mining requires some kind of production planning to achieve production goals with the least deviation. Various methods have been proposed to determine production planning and various softwares have been proposed in this field. NPVS software is one of the most powerful software in this field, which is baxsed on Lerch and Grossman algorithm able to determine the final ultimate limit and baxsed on Milava algorithms and dynamic programming, able to determine optimal production planning. Also software Minesched, Powerful software baxsed on mining constraints Ability to planning exploitation and extraction operations has surface and subsurface mines in a regular and concentrated manner. In this dissertation in order to Long-term production planning and short-term production planning Vertaveh Qamsar iron ore mine, after making a block model by Datamine software determining the ultimate limit with NPVS software, pit design operation was performed using Datamine software. Then with the help of the final ultimate pit production planning is done with Minesched and NPVS softwares and after comparison a more favorable program was obtained. Finally, by reviewing the results from the final ultimate limit and designed pit, long-term production planning produced from NPVS software with 1.075 million tons of ore 4.299 million tons of waste and a total of 5.375 million tons and waste disposal ratio of 3.99 and life of 3 years as well as monthly short-term production planning (first year) produced from Minesched software with an annual total of 0.374 million tons of ore, 1.852 million tons of waste and a total of 2.234 million tons and a waste disposal ratio of 4.93.
