Abstarct: The PLS solution of copper be used in the electro-wiring step. The PLS copper solution contains impurities such as iron, manganese, aluminum, and so on. The presence of these three ions in this solution can reduce the yield and purity of the product. Iron ions interfere with parasitic reactions, ferrite oxidation in the anode, and reduction of ferric in the cathode. Manganese is electrochemically deposited on the anode surface and the manganese corrosive reaction in the electrolyte occurs and accelerates the anode corrosion. In this research, the efficiency of the ion exchange method and the use of cobalt sulfide adsorbent in the removal of intrusive ions from the solution of PLS copper Meydook mine by means of ion exchange resins was investigated. Cobalt nitrate hexanydrate, Sodium sulfide and Aluminum oxide were used to produce cobalt sulfide adsorbent. The use of absorbent was selectively. baxsed on the research findings, with the aid of cobalt sulfide adsorbent, aluminum ion was removed after 12 minutes and iron ion after 18 minutes, but the manganese ions and cobalt remained in solution. Ion exchange resins were used to remove manganese and cobalt ions. These resins include 6 Purolite.C100, Purolite.C150, Purolite resins. A400, A-irc747, Dowex G26h, Dowex-21kxlt. After the experiments, it was found that two resins D-G26h and D-21kxlt had better performance than other resins. As the pH increased, ion absorption increased. The optimum pH was equal to or to 1.8 too 2.2. As the temperature rises, the result was the reverse, and the ion absorption rate decreased with increasing temperature. As the contact time increased, ion absorption increased. So that after 30 minutes, more than 90% of the intrusive ions were absorbed. Therefore, the use of resins and sediment adsorbants was good in removing disturbing ions.
