Abstarct: The purpose of mining is extraction of minerals in preset schedule with the maximum specified production rate and minimum costs and associated risks. A good fragmentation is one of the most important aims of mineral production and for achieving a good fragmentation, blasting pattern must be designed by considering all effective parameters on fragmentation efficiency. The most important target of this study is correction of mine blasting pattern of marl one in Mashhad cement factory. For this purpose, estimation methods of powder factor like Blast ability index and Rock fragmentation index was used for calculation of powder factor that including all massif geology and rock mechanics. At first, laboratory parameters of these methods like "Mohs Hardness", "Shmidt Hardness", "Specific Gravity" and "Uniaxial Compressive Strength" was measured for 13 mine zones. Considering that even 13 objects is not enough number for Estimation Methods ,to estimate these parameters in different parts in the mine and calculating Uniaxial Compressive Strength in laboratory is time-exhausting, tedious and expensive, instead we used the "Estimated Uniaxial Compressive Strength" method. Now by increasing the number of objects (data) it is possible to use estimation methods such as "Distance to Power" method to estimate "Mohs Hardness" parameters, "Specific Gravity" and "Uniaxial Compressive Strength.". Then quantitative parameters that were estimable were estimated and simultaneously the field studies for obtaining the qualitative parameters like joint plan spacing, joint plane orientation, joint plane aperture and rock mass descxription were done for 52 zones of mine. Finally, the mine was be zoned baxsed on blast ability and rock fragmentation indexes and powder factor measures. Eventually with calculated powder factor by blast ability index method, the thickness of the stone amount for different zones was calculated and therewith the parameters of blasting pattern for these zones were calculated.
