Abstarct: The main part of mineral expenses is affected by transportation. Saving fund in this part of mineral expenses – which is the largest expense part – can be a very good way to prevent sale price decrease, mine life increase and economical extraction. Pre-concentration equipments in Iron ore mines of Sangan do the waste primary separation. The goal in this article is to present a model for Pre-concentration equipments location and optimizing transportation system of AmirSangan Parsian mine. Transportation expenses minimizing model by truck, is developed from extraction points to the Pre-concentration equipments and from there to the waste discharge and grading site with the aim of mine scheduled production guarantee. Considering wall stone mechanic factors, 8 candidate points were chosen for Pre-concentration equipments installation. 3D model of transportation program for one way determination baxsed on minimum material sending cost for separation and after that transportation of separated materials to the waste dump and grading site was written by "visual studio 2010" and "C++ programming language" and the optimum answer solved by ILOG CPLEX. Then the locations number 7 and 8 were determined to install two Pre-concentration equipments. This answer has explained the optimized one-went way and load distribution. Then according to the determined points for Pre-concentration equipments installation and optimized went way, transportation model baxsed on minimum possible time of truck returns to the loading points, was presented and optimized return ways and empty trucks distribution to the loading points was determined. Necessary time used for went and return ways of trucks was calculated and considering the loading and discharging times, the number of trucks for this cycle was determined too. Results of this model, shows a 28.5% decrease in necessary transportation truck numbers. Also by proper truck allocations to the Pre-concentration equipments, the necessity of fixed allocation of every pre-concentrate machine to the extraction points has been answered which has been changed the manner of one of this Pre-concentration equipments used for separation primary feed, from "active" to the "standby" case.
