Abstarct: The investigated region is sheet1:100000Bastam , a section of north eastern alborz zone. sheet of this section caused formation of iron reserves. Purpose of this study is to provide potential map of this part of bastam. First stage in map development is recognition of necessary data for combination. Hence, four information laxyers of geological, remote sensing,Geochemical and structural were used for combination in GIS. Evaluation of remote sensing data was performed by processing ASTER images to separate iron-related alterations. Stream sediments geochemical data processing was done by consideration of staged factor analysis for skarn iron deposit. From a geological point of view, iron reserves are related to ignose rock, for this reason Bastam 1:100000sheet was digitized and ignose rock were separated for this region. In each geological data used in this research, because of iron reserves relation with faults, regional faults were recognized and considered as another information laxyer to develop required maps. Finally laxyers of information were combined together using fuzzy logic method and the mentioned map was evolved. To verify quality of the map, condition of active mines in the region were used and the most suited zones were selected to resume exploration activities.Lajneh iron mine is one of the important indexes in mentioned sheet. situation of this mine in produced map is in higher potential zones. This can be used to verify quality of the map
