One of the important and constant challenges of designers and planners of open pit mines is production planning, which is optimized by different methods. One of the issues that should be considered by the planners is the supply of ore with suitable grade for the processing plant during the life of the mine, which is in different horizons of planning, including long-term, medium-term and short-term, but due to The proximity of the planning time with the implementation in short-term planning requires more sensitivity. This project has presented a mathematical model in order to optimize the short-term planning of mines. Every production planning plan in mines faces a series of limitations. Among the limitations in short-term production planning, we can mention factory feed, crusher depot grade, access, number of machines, and the distance of transporting minerals from the work site to the desired depot. The purpose of this research is to reduce the deviation of factory feed grade in the short-term plan of Andrian gold mine, which is possible with the mathematical model presented in this project, according to the limitations in the studied site, so that all types of limitations be provided economically and operationally. To implement this model, the mining data of Andrian gold mine for one year was collected and the model was divided into 12 time periods of one month. The total number of blocks in this model is 426, which is for a period of one year. The model was coded and solved using CPLEX, and finally the software outputs show that the number of constraints is equal to 498, the number of model variables is equal to 5112 with a relative gap of 0.11. According to the output of the model, the total production tonnage per month is at least 259,775 tons and at most 310,166 tons per month. According to the implementation plan in the mine and the proposed model, the average grade of the input of the processing plant has reached from 0.41 grams per ton to a maximum value of 0.79 and a minimum of 0.65 grams per ton, and these results show a decrease The grade deviation is from 0.29 g/ton to 0.09 g/ton. According to the mentioned results, this proposed model can optimize the production schedule.
