Abstarct: With increasing energy consumption and cost, energy management in buildings is paid attention more than before. Especially in hotel, the energy management faces many challenges due to various behavioral patterns in different areas, technical lixnk among some electrical and thermal loads, as well as preserving guests comfort. In this thesis, the integrated electrical and thermal energy management systems is implemented in a smart hotel. Energy sources include electricity and gas networks, a combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP) generator, as well as a steam boiler. Electrical and thermal loads located in common areas and guest rooms are classified into time-flexible, power-flexible, and fixed. lixnking constraints are considered to model the relationship among the electrical and thermal loads. In order to handle the uncertainty of outside temperature, presence of guests and fixed loads in the rooms, a single-point forecast model is used. In this way, the energy management problem is presented as a deterministic optimization model. The proposed energy management model is implemented in a sample hotel in Iran by using the real-world data of uncertain data in the simulation environment. The results show that the amount of profit in the second and third pricing scenarios decreases, respectively, 64.5% and 106.2% in winter, and 64.3% and 107.4% in summer compared to the first pricing scenario. Additionally, the index of dissatisfaction with the indoor temperature in each area of the hotel is the same for all three pricing scenarios. Out-of-sample simulations confirm the appropriate performance of the energy management decisions in gaining more profit and preserving guests comfort.
