Abstarct: Integrating renewable energy with grid connection, smart control and storage systems can lead to changes in electricity production and reduction of greenhouse gases. Wind energy may be considered as one of the most promising renewable energy sources after its development during the last three decades. However, its integration into power systems has several technical challenges related to reliability, availability, and power quality. System operators are very interested in analyzing the impact of wind power on the power system. In the last few years, in addition to steady-state problems, connection requirements have included dynamic requirements, such as the ability to withstand voltage gradients. This leads to the need for accurate modeling of wind turbine systems in order to analyze dynamic phenomena in the power grid. In this research, it is considered to investigate the performance and interaction of wind and gas turbines in the 9-baxse electrical network. In one of the scenarios, the wind turbine is installed as one of the main sources and the gas turbine is installed between buses 6 and 4. The results have shown that in normal condition, the power of wind turbine is higher than gas turbine. Also, with the addition of a large load to the grid, the main task of supplying the load is placed on the existing grid and generators, so that wind and gas turbines will play a smaller role in supplying this load. In another scenario, when the fault occurs and the voltage approaches zero, the reactive power drops sharply and the generator acts as a reactive power consumer. The results have shown that when the excitation voltage decreases, the turbine and the governor are trying to maintain the output power, so the electrical power of the turbine decreases, but it quickly returns to its normal value. Finally, this research shows that the occurrence of various faults may have significant effects on the performance of wind and gas turbines, and turbines try to maintain their power in different conditions. These findings can be used to optimize the design and control of wind and gas turbine systems.
