Abstarct: In this thesis, studies are first conducted on the nature of magnetic time series and the preparation of magnetic data for calibration. The conducted studies include investigating the structure of the magnetic time series and its effectiveness from sensor maneuvers. To perform the maneuvers more precisely, a rotary device is used with the ability to adjust the speed. Sampling is done in three provinces that have different longitudes and latitudes. The results show the chaotic structure of the magnetic signal in the rotating state and its random structure in the stationary state. Therefore, due to the more straightforward nature of the magnetic signal in the rotating state compared to the stationary state, a rotation-baxsed method is suggested to calibrate fluxgate magnetic sensors. The proposed method performs rotational maneuvers in the data preparation stage. Then, calibration is done with techniques such as limiting the search space, using optimization methods, and improving the initial guess. The proposed method is also examined using simulation data and accurate data to check and validate, and the results are compared with other methods and articles. The results show the superiority of the proposed method over other methods.
