Abstarct: Resistance spot welding has high strength with low weight and is very suitable for permanent connections and is used in the automotive industry and other industries. The purpose of this research is to study bonded resistance spot welding using adhesive technology. To achieve the right combination of welding and adhesive, first the best adhesive combination is studied by examining and testing different models of adhesives. Then the parameters related to the surface of the piece are checked to study the effect of surface quality on this connection. After choosing the type of adhesive and the surface parameters, the composition and process parameters of the adhesive and its curing methods are examined. At this stage, Taguchi's test design method is used. Further, after finalizing the adhesive parameters, welding parameters such as connection pressure, time and amperage of spot welding are studied using response surface test design methods in order to obtain the most optimal mode of bonded spot welding. baxsed on the results of the first stage, the combination of one-component polyurethane Caspin adhesive and one-component Mazda epoxy adhesive and oil thinner solvent is the best of its kind and increases the tensile strength of welding. Examination of the surface parameters showed that surface roughness has no effect on the performance of the adhesive in the bonded spot-welding process. In addition, after obtaining the best combination of glue type and baking processes, it was found that pressure has the greatest effect in the spot-welding process with a quadratic relationship. In this way, if the pressure decreases, the thickness of the adhesive laxyer increases and the increase in electrical resistance causes a decrease in the passage of electric current and weakness in the weld. On the other hand, if the pressure exceeds a certain limit, the glue will be discharged from the connection area, which also reduces the final strength of the product. In this research, the best pressure equal to 1.1 bar was obtained. In addition, if the two parameters of time and amperage are increased at the same time, the strength performance of the welding point is improved. Finally, the optimal sample of the bonded welding point was compared with the sample of the welding point without glue and it showed that the strength of the welding point increased by 6.5%. The examination of the welding point materials also showed that in the welding point process, with the presence of glue, bubble is formed in the nugget area due to the burning of the glue, but it has no effect on the strength of the welding point. In addition, in the tensile test, the sheet tear without any nugget failure.
