Abstarct: Abstract This dissertation examines the health monitoring of structures, which is a process for obtaining accurate instantaneous information about the condition and performance of structures. The main purpose of monitoring is to detect unusual structural behaviors (structural defects) that indicate unfavorable structural conditions. Monitoring data is used to optimize the performance, maintenance, repair and replacement of structures. Objective In the field of structural health monitoring, damage is defined as changes that occur during the operation of the structure, which detects the existence of failure and states the location and extent of failure. Therefore, in this study, waves are used to detect failure and calculate its amount in damaged aluminum structures. baxsed on the comparison of the return waves of the healthy and defective plate structure, a suitable frequency range is extracted to stimulate the lamb waves. In this way, first the experimental steps of this experiment are simulated with Comsol softwore. Using Comsol and MATLAB softwore, the content is simulated. Before any possible cost, the target experiment is performed experimentally in the laboratory and using Comsol softwore to build Different waves in the softwore environment and then to create a sine wave, then investigate and obtain the displacement of a point, then the problem is selected as stationary and in time dependent mode, and instead of force, the option sin (t) is set and the selection time Was placed between zero and 10 seconds with a time step of 0.01. In the next step, the piezoelectric sensor along with the aluminum plate was modeled using Comsol softwore. This can be done in the laboratory on a sheet of aluminum with dimensions of 40 × 40 cm and piezo 10 nanofarads, and using a neodymium magnet, a defective state was created in the structure, and the transmitted wave using the generator function via piezoelectric It is applied to the structure and the return wave from the structure is also received through the same piezo. Using laboratory results recorded at appropriate frequencies where the return wave is easily distinguishable from noise is plotted in MATLAB softwore and the difference between healthy and defective wave is detected as a defect in the structure. The quantitative results of the experiments are that the frequency of 150 kHz as the best frequency of resistance of 68 ohms as the best resistance in terms of increasing the amplitude and noise resolution.
